Peters Piles Contiguous Piling
Contiguous piling is a method of installing piles closely together in a sequence by drilling 1 pile, missing 2 piles, drilling the third pile, and so on. After the first series of piles has been filled with steel reinforcement and concrete, the piles in between can be drilled and filled, and after the next sequence, the final piles can be drilled and poured. Normally, a capping beam is formed on top of the piles, steel is tied to the piles, and concrete is poured, creating a solid foundation with a platform to build on.
Our contiguous piling services can be used as perimeter piles for blocks of units to create underground parking; they can also be used for swimming pools, basements, garages, lift shafts, and retaining walls.
